Elley Ringo is an economic geologist and independent geologic consultant specializing in mineral identification. She graduated at the top of her class from the University of Nevada, Reno, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology. With over 12 years of professional experience at a major mining company, Elley has developed expertise in economic geology, focusing on both placer and hard rock mining environments. Now working independently, she leverages her knowledge and passion for rocks and minerals to provide consulting services and educate others about geology and mining practices.

Elley is the Vice President of the Lake Havasu Gem and Mineral Society. She also serves as the lead field trip organizer for Havasu Rocks. Remarkably, she carries out all of these responsibilities on a volunteer basis.
Elley worked for one of the top mining companies in America before venturing off on her own to create her brand. She dedicated nine years to the company that never appreciated her voice and enthusiasm. During this time, Elley gained extensive industry knowledge and honed her skills, yet she felt her contributions were overlooked. Deciding to take control of her career, she channeled her passion and experience into building a brand that truly reflects her values and vision. Her journey underscores the importance of perseverance and self-belief in transforming challenges into opportunities.
Elley has also been a writer for the GPAA (gold prospectors association of america) for 4 years and has had 4 cover featured articles with the GPAA.
